1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ClearPath Rentals' car rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Rental Requirements

  • Renters must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driving license held for minimum 1 year
  • International Driving Permit required for foreign visitors
  • Valid credit card for security deposit
  • Valid identification (passport or NRIC)

3. Rental Period and Charges

The rental period begins when you take possession of the vehicle and ends when the vehicle is returned to us. Late returns may incur additional charges. Grace period of 30 minutes is provided.

  • Daily rental: 24-hour period from pickup time
  • Late return fee: Hourly rates apply beyond 30-minute grace period
  • Excess mileage: $0.20-0.30 per km beyond allowance

4. Use of Vehicle

You agree to:

  • Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
  • Not allow unauthorized persons to drive the vehicle
  • Not use the vehicle for racing, testing, or illegal activities
  • Not drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Return the vehicle in the same condition as received
  • Pay all parking fines, ERP charges, and traffic violations

5. Insurance and Liability

All rentals include basic third-party liability insurance. You are responsible for:

  • Excess amount as per your selected insurance plan
  • Damage not covered by insurance policy
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Violations of traffic laws or parking regulations

6. Security Deposit

A security deposit is required via credit card authorization. The deposit amount varies by vehicle type ($500-$2000). The deposit will be refunded within 7-14 business days after vehicle return, subject to no damages or violations.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellations 72+ hours before pickup: Full refund
  • Cancellations 48-72 hours before pickup: 50% refund
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours: No refund
  • Modifications: Free up to 48 hours before pickup

8. Fuel Policy

Full-to-Full fuel policy applies. Vehicle is provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, refueling charges apply at $2.50/liter plus service fee of $30.

9. Accidents and Breakdowns

In case of accident or breakdown, you must:

  • Immediately notify ClearPath Rentals at +65 8611 8566
  • Not abandon the vehicle
  • File a police report if required
  • Provide all necessary documentation and information
  • Cooperate with insurance claims process

10. Limitation of Liability

ClearPath Rentals is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles. Our liability is limited to the rental charges paid.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in Singapore courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
